  • For the sticks you can use a hot nail and put a hole through the plastic hoop and hot glue and place the rods directly into your holes and they will stay in place

  • Love the paper mache bowls.. finally something different to make... Also you can recycle cardboard so that makes it even more nice. And the Hola hoop I need to make one for above my bed. Maybe if you make holes in the hope you can put the sticks in the hoop. Love 💕 from the Netherlands 😘

  • I love the paper mâché bowl. Note, you can use paper egg cartons as well! The hanging is lovely, a neat idea to use the hoop. Have you considered drilling through the hoop and just inserting the skewers before gluing them in place?

  • I really love them all, but that paper-mache bowl is awesome! Use a blender next time your making paper-mache no boiling necessary! If you want to speed up the drying process, then bake it at 175 degrees!

  • I got these utility scissors for a project I'm doing that is a smaller version of the hula hoop one. Love them!! They cut my thin dowels so easily. I am using large wooden rings used for embroidery rings I got from Goodwill. I have all the wood pieces stained and can't wait to get started on the yarn tomorrow!! Thank you!!

  • I know a lot of people said to drill a hole in the whole hoop and put the skewers in there, which is what I was going to suggest because last year I made a hula hoop wagon wheel, I got around piece of styrofoam for the middle and I stuck the skewers in there and then drilled holes all the way around the hula hoop, covered the outside in rope left the sticks as they were, attach some flowers to the rope around the hula hoop and it looks like a wagon wheel, I love it.
